The administrative center of the city of Byala. The same is located almost at an equal distance from two regional cities – Varna (50 km) and Burgas (70 km). The nearest town, at a distance of 5 km, is Obzor, Nesebar municipality.
The modern relief of the municipality of Byala can be described as hilly. In the western and northern parts of the municipality, the eastern slopes of the Kamchia mountain fall. These slopes gently slope down to the sea with a slope of 2 to 5%. The height of the town of Byala is 42 m.
The coastline of the municipality is characterized by a combination of rocky shores, small coves, sand dunes. The coastline is steep and ruined, which severely limits beach potential, but on the other hand, it lends it an attractiveness that is a valuable resort resource.
The total length of the beach is 14,300 m, or about 3% of the entire length of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Most of the beaches have an eastern, northeastern and southeastern exposure, which provides more optimal sunny conditions. The total length of beaches is 6244 m, or about 16% of the total length of beach strips located in the Varna region.
